In response, we established the Eradicate Cancer Foundation to financially support initiatives aimed at a crucial, critical stage of the cancer spectrum – at the very beginning!
Cancer is insidious. It can attack anyone, in any part of the body, at any time – without regard for age, gender or background. The ramifications of a cancer diagnosis extend far beyond the patient. It also impacts families, friends, caregivers, survivors, and those who have lost someone they love.
Cancer is everywhere. So pervasive. It affects millions of families around the world.
Significant progress has been made globally and continues – from finding a cure to improving treatment and quality of life for those stricken by cancer. Yet, despite these advances, there is still much more to do. We want to do our part – however modest and to the extent possible – at the front-end of the cancer spectrum – on awareness/ avoidance/ prevention & earliest possible detection!
Born from multiple family cancer tragedies, we established the Eradicate Cancer Foundation. Want to address two persistent questions: Why didn’t we know more sooner? Why isn’t early detection more accessible?
Focussed on lung cancer initially, we will quickly turn our attention to other leading cancers.

To launch quickly and maximize the effectiveness of resources, our Eradicate Cancer Foundation operates as a Fund within the Aqueduct Foundation, one of Canada’s largest public foundations. Aqueduct Foundation disperses over $100 million annually to charities across Canada on behalf of donor-advised funds of which we are one.
